Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver in-home therapy, helping children reach their highest potential in a supportive, therapist-owned environment.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat 0–21-year-old patients, document progress, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and provide feeding therapy when needed in a home health setting. This full-time role includes benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid Texas SLP license and CCC-SLP.
  • Experience with pediatric patients and feeding experience.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Spanish bilingual a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ times weekly, per physician orders.
  • Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairments by selecting/testing instruments.
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals and interventions.
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training and materials.
  • May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants with 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Define patients\' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
  • May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
