Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled services in the home or daytime facility for ages 0-21, several times per week.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating speech, language, feeding and related disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and educating families. Opportunities to supervise Fellows may arise with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CCC-SLP certification or completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
  • Texas state licensure to practice SLP.
  • Pediatric experience required.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Spanish language ability a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ times per week as prescribed.
  • Define degree and type of impairments in speech, language, voice, and feeding using appropriate tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise on speech modalities.
  • Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training and materials.

Requirements:
  • Master\'s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
  • Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
  • License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
  • Experience in pediatrics required
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Feeding Experience a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license and auto insurance.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Define patients\' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
  • May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
