Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled services in the home or daytime facility for ages 0-21, several times per week.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating speech, language, feeding and related disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and educating families. Opportunities to supervise Fellows may arise with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
CCC-SLP certification or completion of Clinical Fellowship year.
Texas state licensure to practice SLP.
Pediatric experience required.
Home health experience preferred.
Spanish language ability a plus.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21 years, 2+ times per week as prescribed.
Define degree and type of impairments in speech, language, voice, and feeding using appropriate tests.
Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and advise on speech modalities.
Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training and materials.

Requirements:

Master\'s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
Experience in pediatrics required
Home health experience preferred
Feeding Experience a plus
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Must have a valid driver\'s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
Define patients\' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
