Job summary
A leading pediatric healthcare provider in Phoenix is seeking a Child Life Specialist to deliver therapeutic interventions and psychosocial support to pediatric patients and their families. The role includes developing individualized patient goals, documenting care, and promoting a safe environment. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Child Life or related field, a minimum of 480-hour Child Life Internship, and BLS certification. The position offers full-time employment with daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Completion of a minimum 480-hour professional Child Life Internship under a Certified Child Life Specialist.
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Plans and implements individual patient goals.
- Documents patient assessments and outcomes.
- Provides a safe, therapeutic environment.
