Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver skilled therapy to pediatric patients in home or daytime clinical settings. You will assess, diagnose, and plan speech-language, feeding, and related interventions for ages 0–21, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and Texas licensure. Pediatric and home health experience are preferred, with Spanish language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification required or in process.
• Texas license to practice SLP must be active.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy to patients aged 0–21 in home or daytime facility.
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, feeding, swallowing and related disorders.
• Prepare written diagnostic reports and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding experience
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
