Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Texas seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric in-home therapy (0-21 years) 2+ times weekly, per physician orders. This role supports feeding and language targets within a collaborative team.

You will diagnose, plan, and implement therapy programs, educate families, and mentor Clinical Fellows as needed; valid TX license and CCC-SLP required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Texas licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
• Experience working with pediatric populations.
• Experience in feeding therapy.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities for 0-21 years old, 2+ times per week as directed.
• Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, voice, feeding, and related disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan goals and implement interventions.
• Educate families and caregivers; design training materials and in-service sessions.
• Mentor Clinical Fellows or SLP Assistants if required.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding Experience required
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
