Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is hiring for a FedRAMP-focused cloud operations role in the Webex for Government team. Hybrid work is available in RTP, NC or Boxborough, MA with 2–3 days in office.

You will deploy and run AWS and Kubernetes-based infrastructure to support government workloads, monitor health, and respond to incidents in a 24x7 production environment. You will strengthen security, IAM, logging, and compliance, collaborating with engineering, security, and governance teams to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/engineering with 7+ years of related experience.
• Proficient in Python, Bash or Go and shell scripting.
• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge of kernels, libs and file systems.
• Experience with AWS and IaC tools, Terraform preferred.
• Experience building containerized apps with Docker and K8s.
• Production experience with Kubernetes (K8s).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate and maintain AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure and microservices.
• Monitor service health and troubleshoot incidents in a 24x7 environment.
• Automate provisioning and repetitive operational tasks.
• Improve platform security by IAM, logging and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with security/compliance to document runbooks and incidents.
