Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking an Account Executive to cover the Federal market in Washington DC, selling technical Cloudflare solutions to government agencies. You will combine sales acumen with a technical understanding of networking to engage both technical and non-technical buyers.

You’ll develop territory plans, manage negotiations, and build long-term relationships with Federal accounts while contributing to Cloudflare's growth in the U.S. public sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling technical solutions to the Federal Government.
• Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles.
• Basic understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”.
• Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit.
• Experience selling to the Federal customer base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan for Federal markets.
• Drive sales in a defined territory and/or account list to achieve revenue targets.
• Assist in creating and articulating compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
• Manage contract negotiations.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
