Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Sales Specialist to drive mission-critical logging, incident reconstruction, and analytics solutions for emergency dispatch centers. You will guide federal and civilian procurement cycles, win strategic accounts, and forecast revenue with Salesforce discipline.

You will lead end-to-end responses for RFPs/RFQs, coordinate with major radio/telephony vendors, and demonstrate capabilities such as AI speech analytics and NG911 readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1+ years in sales, customer success, military and/or public safety experience.
• 3+ years industry experience selling tech to public safety agencies, local governments, or municipalities.
• Strong understanding of P25 radio networks, SIP/VoIP logging, CAD integration, and NG911 i3 standards.
• Familiarity with CJIS security policies and state public record retention laws.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota on a consistent, repeatable basis.
• Lead end-to-end technical bid responses for federal solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) across defense and civilian markets.
• Target new logos and lead complex sales efforts to penetrate strategic accounts.
• Guide federal program managers, contracting officers, and agency directors through government procurement cycles.
• Accurately forecast revenue pipelines with Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility.
• Understand client goals and design modern security solutions to mitigate risk.
• Identify and build relationships with 911 directors, IT managers, and purchasing agents.
• Conduct needs assessments regarding NG911 readiness and analog-to-digital migrations.
• Lead end-to-end technical responses for government bids and RFQs.
• Partner with major radio and telephony vendors to position integrated solutions.
• Present capabilities like incident reconstruction, AI speech analytics, and QA evaluation.
• Secure long-term RaaS contracts and expand revenue.
