Karsun Solutions is seeking an energetic Growth Associate to drive growth across federal accounts, focusing on the US Army and VA. You will be in the room, networking and representing Karsun’s delivery capabilities to government and industry stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on exposure to VA/DoD acquisitions, strong proposal-writing skills, and the ability to speak to modern tech like cloud and AI at a high level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional or military experience.
• 3–5 years total experience in federal growth, program management, or acquisition.
• Experience as Government Program Manager/Program Analyst transitioning to industry or from a major consulting firm.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven networking at events and with government/industry leaders.
• Solid knowledge of VA and Army acquisition processes and DoD contracting mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience writing federal proposals and working within structured capture processes.
• Comfort discussing modern tech concepts (cloud, AI) with non-engineers.
• Proficient with federal market intelligence platforms (GovWinIQ, USAspending, HubSpot).
• Willingness to travel/attend local events in Herndon, VA area.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Account Support: support growth in VA and US Army accounts by developing customer and market intelligence informing capture decisions.
• Capture Execution: support opportunities through the capture lifecycle under the capture lead in active pipeline.
• Win Strategy & Positioning: develop win themes, value propositions, and capability gap analyses for Army and VA acquisition frameworks.
• Teaming & Partnerships: collaborate with Business Development to identify partners and prepare teaming materials.
• Proposal Writing: actively write and contribute to proposal sections, turning intelligence into winning narratives.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: coordinate with Solution Architects, Proposal Managers, Pricing, and Client Delivery.
• Pipeline Discipline: maintain accurate opportunity records in CRM, logging engagement and status changes.
