The role requires 3-5 years in federal growth or program management, strong networking skills, and the ability to navigate DoD contracting. Local in-person presence is expected in the DC/Herndon area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• 3-5 years in federal growth, program management, or acquisition.
• Experience as a Government PM/Analyst or from a major consulting firm.
• Strong networking and relationship-building with government and industry leaders.
• Knowledge of VA and Army acquisition processes and DoD contracts.
• Hands-on proposal writing in federal environments (Shipley or similar).
• Ability to discuss modern software, cloud, and AI concepts without coding.
• Experience using federal market intelligence tools like GovWinIQ and USAspending.
• In-person availability in the Herndon, VA / DC area.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Account support to grow VA and US Army accounts with market intel.
• Support capture lifecycle and engage under the capture lead.
• Develop win themes, value propositions, and Army/VA alignment.
• Collaborate with BD to identify partners and prepare teaming materials.
• Write and contribute to proposal sections with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain CRM records with activities, engagement logs, status changes.
• Attend industry days and events to build relationships and gather intel.
• Discuss delivery capabilities and pricing strategies with stakeholders.
• Assist with demos and become a backup presenter when needed.
