SMX seeks a Junior Federal Financial Business Analyst to join the client service delivery team. Remote position supporting federal customers, focusing on budgeting, planning, and analytics with SAC, PowerBI, Tableau, and Qlik.

You will analyze complex financial data, document processes, and partner with stakeholders across teams to optimize financial and operational performance. Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, IS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years in federal financial management, business process analysis, data analytics, consulting, or operations analysis.
• Experience with federal government financial data and processes.
• Experience with data analysis, reconciliation, and exception resolution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Analyze financial and operational data to support decision-making.
• Document processes, workflows, and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify improvements.
• Recommend process, technology, and data solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Review policies and data structures for impacts on processes.
• Create quality documentation across SDLC and training materials.
• Develop test plans and business use cases; manage test execution.
