Job summary

SMX is seeking a Federal Financial Business Analyst for a 100% remote role with minimal travel (<20%). You will partner with government stakeholders to analyze financial and operational data, improve business processes, and support data-driven decision making using SAC and other BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, data analytics, public administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in federal financial management, business process analysis, data analytics/reporting, management or technology consulting, or operations analysis/strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial and operational data to support strategic decision-making.
• Document and analyze business processes, workflows, requirements, and decision-making needs.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend solutions.
• Create quality documentation across all SDLC phases and develop test plans and use cases.
