Job summary

SMX is seeking a Federal Financial Business Analyst to join the client service delivery team. This 100% remote, full-time role supports a SAP Analytics Cloud-based BAS solution for federal customers and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will work with government stakeholders to analyze complex financial data, improve processes, and deliver data-driven insights. Role involves collaboration across cross-functional teams and extensive documentation throughout SDLC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience in federal financial management, business process analysis, data analytics, or consulting.
Experience with federal government financial data and processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.
Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Partner with government stakeholders to analyze financial and operational data and support decision-making.
Document business processes, requirements, and decision needs.
Facilitate workshops to identify improvement opportunities.
Recommend process, technology, and data solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Create and maintain SDLC documentation and test plans.
