Job summary

SMX is seeking a Federal Financial Business Analyst to join the client service delivery team. The role is fully remote with minimal travel (<20%) and requires Public Trust clearance. You will collaborate with government stakeholders to analyze, improve, and document financial processes, data, and reporting, delivering data-driven insights across the SDLC.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design and roll out next-generation planning solutions, leveraging SAC and other BI tools to maximize client value and performance. The position emphasizes analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and independent, client-facing delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have federal financial management experience.
• Experience working with federal government financial data and processes.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
