Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery contracts in the U.S. Government sector.

You will lead pursuits, build executive relationships, and manage the GC relationship pipeline from target identification through teaming agreements. You will collaborate with CSLs and cross-functional teams to position CDM Smith as the exclusive lead designer and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
15 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience in federal architecture, engineering, and construction business development is preferred.

Responsibilities

Target regional and national General Contractors for federal projects.
Position CDM Smith as the preferred designer early in the procurement cycle.
Develop teaming strategies with CSLs and preconstruction, legal, and sales teams.
Manage contractor relationships from target identification to teaming agreements.
Track movement toward accelerated delivery methods and align pursuit resources.
Resolve friction points between General Contractor and architect‑engineer teams during design validation and cost reconciliation.
