Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Federal Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategy and partnerships with national and regional General Contractors for US government projects. You will advance early teaming, assess capabilities, and build executive relationships to boost the probability of award.

You will work with CSLs and multi-disciplinary teams to identify priority pursuits, shape scopes of work, and guide large-scale delivery models across federal portfolios, including DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency varies by duties.

Responsibilities

• Target regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery contracts.
• Position CDM Smith as the preferred designer early in procurement and negotiate teaming terms.
• Collaborate with CSLs and preconstruction teams to develop teaming strategies and improve probability of award.
• Lead teaming strategy for DoD and other federal opportunities by translating procurement criteria into competitive subcontract structures.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline of federal opportunities and decisions with prime contractor targets and next actions.
• Identify and resolve friction between the GC and architect‑engineer team during design validation and cost reconciliation.
