Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior leader to drive federal alternative delivery business development and capture strategies. You will steward partnerships with national and regional General Contractors, positioning CDM Smith as a premier designer and coordinating with CSLs, preconstruction, and legal teams to secure teaming commitments.

The role emphasizes building executive relationships, understanding FAR mechanics, and guiding pursuits from target identification to award.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
15 years of related experience.
Travel may be required (20%–40%).
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy and partnerships with regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal alternative delivery contracts.
Position CDM Smith as the preferred design subcontractor early in the procurement cycle and negotiate teaming terms.
Develop and execute teaming strategies from target identification through execution of teaming agreements.
Coordinate with Client Service Leaders and teams to maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities.
Track federal agency movement and align pursuit resources with prime contractor interest and probability of award.
