Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a senior Business Development and Capture professional to lead strategy and partnerships for federal alternative delivery opportunities, including Progressive Design‑Build and DB2B. You will cultivate prime contractor relationships, drive teaming agreements, and coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Targeting and establishing direct relationships with regional and national General Contractors pursuing federal alternate delivery contracts.
• Positioning CDM Smith as the preferred design subcontractor early in procurement cycles and negotiating exclusivity and scopes of work.
• Working with pursuit teams to present engineering expertise, constructability, cost validation, and risk mitigation to General Contractor teams.
• Leading teaming strategy for DoD and other federal opportunities by translating procurement criteria into competitive designer-led structures.
• Collaborating with federal Client Service Leaders and teams to develop teaming strategies and contracts.
• Maintaining a qualified pipeline of federal opportunities and tracking movement toward award.
• Serving as senior relationship and capture lead through teaming agreement execution.
