Job summary

Bryan Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This role assists project managers and superintendents in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. In this on-site role, you will read drawings, manage submittals and RFIs, schedule meetings, maintain records, and help with turnover documentation, safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or similar field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• OSHA 30 or ability to complete upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; manage submittals; collect cost, scope and schedule impacts from subcontractors; ensure accuracy of as-builts and mark-ups.
• Create, track, and maintain the RFIs workflow; distribute RFIs; post responses and follow up on schedule/cost impacts.
• Schedule meetings, take minutes, and distribute minutes to stakeholders.
• Compile closeout documentation (warranties, O&M manuals, as-built drawings); facilitate owner training and red-line drawings.
• Close out punchlist items; assist with inspection, permitting and regulatory requirements.
• Archive all documentation for turnover; support safety processes and required safety documentation.
• Assist with warranty issues and quality control measures; ensure adherence to sustainability plans.
