Job summary

Bryan Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will assist project managers and superintendents with schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

The role involves managing RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and turnover packages, while supporting safety, permitting, and quality control in a fast-paced site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• OSHA 30 or ability to complete upon hire

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; manage cost, scope, and schedule impacts from subcontractors
• Create and maintain submittal schedules and ensure timely distribution
• Manage RFIs; distribute, clarify, and post responses to drawings
• Schedule meetings, take and distribute minutes to stakeholders
• Compile and archive closeout documentation including warranties, O&M manuals, and as-builts
• Support permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements as needed
• Ensure proper turnover documentation and archived records
• Assist with safety documentation and warranty issues as needed
• Support Quality Control measures and sustainability plan adherence
