Job summary

Bryan Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will assist project managers and superintendents in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

The role involves reading drawings, managing RFIs/submittals, coordinating closeout documentation, and ensuring turnover readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications, manage submittals and RFIs, and distribute updates to the project team.
• Schedule meetings, take minutes, and circulate them to stakeholders.
• Compile closeout documentation, including warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts, and final inspections.
• Coordinate punch list items, assist with inspections, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure documentation is archived for turnover and support safety processes.
• Assist with warranty issues and identify cost impacts.
