Job summary

Bryan Construction, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This role assists project managers and superintendents with schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. The Project Engineer will manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation; ensure safety and regulatory compliance; and coordinate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar field.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; maintain and distribute drawings; collect cost, scope and schedule impacts; ensure accuracy of as-builts and mark-ups.
• Manage submittal process by creating submittal schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and updating submittals in project management software.
• Create, track, and maintain the RFI workflow; distribute RFIs and post responses; follow up for schedule and cost impacts.
• Schedule meetings, take minutes, and distribute minutes to stakeholders.
• Compile closeout documentation including warranties, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and final inspections; facilitate owner training; ensure red-line drawings are provided.
• Capture, distribute, and close punchlist items in PM software.
• Assist with inspection, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure documentation is submitted and archived for turnover.
• Support safety processes with subcontractors’ safety documentation.
• Assist with warranty issues, including coordinating subcontractors and communicating with the client.
• Assist with Quality Control and adherence to sustainability plans.
