Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will assist project managers and superintendents in schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.

The role emphasizes submittals, RFIs, meetings, and turnover documentation, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance on a busy multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain on hire.
• Experience reading and understanding drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; manage submittals and distribute updates.
• Create and track RFIs; coordinate responses with project team.
• Schedule meetings; take and distribute minutes.
• Compile closeout documentation, warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts; coordinate owner training.
• Close punchlist items; document turnover and final inspections.
• Assist with permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Ensure safety documentation is submitted; support safety processes.
• Assist with warranty issues and cost impacts; identify potential savings.
