Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to interpret drawings and specifications, manage submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation for commercial projects.

The role requires coordinating with subcontractors, tracking budgets, schedules, and ensuring timely distribution of information across project teams. The candidate will support inspection, permitting, safety documentation, and turnover activities on site and in the office, with travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specs; manage costs, scope, and schedule impacts from subs.
• Create submittal schedules and ensure updates in project management software.
• Develop and track RFIs; distribute and follow up for responses and impacts.
• Schedule meetings, record and distribute minutes to stakeholders.
• Compile closeout docs: warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts, inspections.
