Job summary

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking a Construction Manager/COR to provide construction management, technical oversight and contract administration for Federal and leasing projects.

You will review design submissions, monitor progress and coordinate site activities with multiple stakeholders. You will serve as the Government’s COR, inspect work, document compliance, and support negotiations with contractors and lessors to advance project goals in a complex,

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in applying engineering methods and construction practices.
• Experience defining requirements with customers and developing construction cost estimates.
• Ability to inspect construction and administer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, coordination, oversight, administration and management of design, construction and leasing projects.
• Serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and liaison with contractors and lessors.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, leasing specialists and budget analysts.
• Prepare independent Government estimates and technical analyses to support acquisition and negotiation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with Federal client agencies and external stakeholders.
