Job summary

GSA is seeking a Construction Manager/COR to oversee design, construction and leasing projects for Federal tenants nationwide. The role includes acting as the Government’s technical liaison with contractors and lessors, reviewing submissions, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with contracts.

Qualified candidates will have specialized experience in building systems, cost estimation, contract administration and project management, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Specialized experience applying engineering methods and construction practices to building systems.
• Defining requirements with customers and developing construction cost estimates.
• Inspecting construction and administering construction contracts.
• Reading and interpreting engineering and architectural plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning, coordination, oversight, administration and management of design, construction and leasing project activities.
• Act as COR, liaison with contractors and lessors, monitor performance and document compliance.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, leasing specialists and budgets.
• Prepare independent Govt estimates and analyses to support acquisition and negotiation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with Federal client agencies to support project coordination.
