Job summary

GSA is seeking a Construction Manager/COR to provide construction management, technical oversight and contract administration support for Federal and leasing projects. The role encompasses planning, design review, progress monitoring and COR duties to ensure contractor and lessor compliance.

The position requires specialized experience in building systems, cost estimating, contract administration and multi-discipline project management from initiation to closeout. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience applying engineering methods and construction practices for building systems.
• Experience defining requirements with customers and developing cost estimates.
• Ability to inspect construction and administer contracts independently.

Responsibilities

• Performs planning, coordination, oversight, administration and management of design, construction and leasing project activities.
• Serves as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and liaison with contractors and lessors.
• Coordinates activities among project stakeholders and prepares briefings on costs and status.
• Prepares independent Government estimates and analyzes proposals to support negotiations.
• Maintains relationships with Federal client agencies for project coordination.
