Job summary

GSA in the United States seeks a Construction Manager/COR to oversee construction management, technical oversight and contract administration for moderate to complex Federal and leasing projects.

The role serves as COR, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and budget analysts; prepares estimates and supports acquisitions and negotiations; maintains relationships with Federal client agencies for project coordination.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience demonstrating engineering methods and construction practices.
• Resume must clearly demonstrate meeting the specialized experience for the grade levels applied to.
• Experience in defining requirements with customers and developing construction cost estimates.
• Ability to inspect construction and administer contracts across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, oversee, administer and manage design, construction and leasing activities.
• Serve as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and liaison with contractors/lessors.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, budgeting and building management teams.
• Prepare independent Govt estimates and analyses to support acquisition and negotiations.
• Maintain relationships with Federal agencies and external stakeholders for project coordination.
