Job summary

GSA is seeking a Construction Manager/ COR to provide construction management, technical oversight and contract administration for moderate to complex Federal and leasing projects. You will serve as COR, liaising with contractors and lessors, and coordinating with project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience applying engineering methods and construction practices for building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or fire protection.
• Defining requirements with customers and developing construction cost estimates.
• Inspecting construction and administering contracts.
• Reading and interpreting engineering and architectural plans and specifications.
• Managing projects or major project portions independently across disciplines from initiation to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, oversee, administer and manage design, construction and leasing activities.
• Serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and liaison with contractors and lessors.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, leasing specialists, budget analysts and building managers.
• Prepare independent Government estimates and analyses to support acquisition and negotiation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with Federal client agencies and external stakeholders.
