Job summary

U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking a Construction Manager/COR to oversee moderate to complex federal and leasing projects. The role includes technical oversight, contract administration, and acting as the Government’s liaison with contractors and lessors.

The position requires specialized engineering construction experience and the ability to manage projects from initiation through closeout, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring compliance with contracts.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience applying engineering methods and construction practices.
• Ability to define customer requirements and develop cost estimates.
• Experience inspecting construction and administering contracts.
• Strong reading of engineering/architectural plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, oversight, administration of design, construction, and leasing activities.
• Act as COR, liaison with contractors/lessors, monitor performance and document contracts.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and budget analysts; brief leadership on costs and status.
• Prepare independent government estimates and analyses; support negotiations with contractors/lessors.
• Maintain relationships with Federal client agencies to coordinate projects.
