Elastic seeks a Federal Civilian Solutions Architect to map agency needs to the Elastic Stack, leading engagements across the sales lifecycle. You’ll drive mission-focused value, architect secure solutions, and guide technical decisions for federal clients in the DMV region.

Hybrid work with periodic in-office collaboration in Reston/Tysons, VA. We value experience shaping AI-enabled architectures, data systems, and secure enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in solutions architecture, systems engineering, or pre-sales in enterprise software or federal tech.
• Experience supporting federal mission areas with demonstrated impact.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and communicate ROI of modernization.
• Curiosity about open-source tech, cloud-native architectures, and AI/ML trends.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead technical advisor for Federal Civilian accounts, guiding discovery to technical win.
• Develop understanding of agency modernization mandates and articulate mission value.
• Build trust with executives and engineers across customer organizations.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations, POCs, and architectural prototypes.
• Collaborate with FSIs, VARs, and partners on account plans and captures.
• Advocate for federal-specific requirements to product management and engineering.
