Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a USA Capture Manager to lead federal capture efforts for our Technology Division. You will own the full capture lifecycle for CONUS opportunities involving drones, robotics, AI, additive manufacturing, and related tech offerings.

You will shape win strategies, develop customer engagement plans, and drive disciplined capture processes that convert pipeline into awards on DoD pathways. Remote collaboration with international partners is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technical, or related field; advanced degree or PMP preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of federal business development or capture experience, with DoD or federal technology pursuits.
• Demonstrated success leading captures involving unmanned systems, robotics, AI, additive manufacturing or related tech.
• Strong working knowledge of federal procurement vehicles (DIU OTAs/CSOs, SeaPort-NxG, OASIS+, GSA MAS).
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain preferred; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal submission and award.
• Develop capture plans with win themes, solution strategies, competitive analysis, and engagement plans.
• Identify and shape federal opportunities aligned with unmanned systems, robotics, AI, and additive manufacturing.
• Build relationships with DoD customers, program offices, contracting officers, and decision-makers.
• Represent Planate at industry events and customer meetings to position capabilities.
• Coordinate with SMEs, proposal teams, pricing, contracts, and international partners.
• Support pipeline development, CRM, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Identify teaming opportunities to strengthen competitive positions on OTAs, IDIQs, and set-asides.
