Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a results-driven USA Capture Manager to lead federal capture efforts for our Technology Division. This role owns the full capture lifecycle for CONUS opportunities involving drones/UAS, AI, additive manufacturing, and robotics, coordinating with DoD customers and partners.

You will develop win strategies, engage senior government stakeholders, and drive disciplined capture processes that convert pipeline into awards on DIU OTAs/CSOs, SeaPort-NxG, and GSA-type

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of federal BD or capture experience with DoD or federal tech pursuits.
• Experience leading captures for unmanned systems, robotics, AI, or additive manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through award.
• Develop capture plans with win themes, solution strategies, competitive analysis, price-to-win, and customer engagement.
• Identify, qualify, and shape federal opportunities aligned with DIU, SeaPort-NxG, OASIS+, and other programs.
• Build relationships with DoD customers, program offices, contracting officers, and decision-makers.
• Coordinate with SMEs, proposal teams, pricing, contracts, and potential teammates to ensure compliant, compelling solutions.
• Support pipeline development, CRM maintenance, forecasting, and performance reporting against capture KPIs.
• Identify and pursue teaming opportunities that strengthen our competitive position on OTAs, IDIQs, and set-asides.
• Monitor market trends, acquisition strategies, and competitor activity in unmanned systems, robotics, AI, and additive manufacturing.
