Job summary

Emerging Tech seeks a Director of Business Development to lead its federal government growth strategy from opportunity identification through award. You will own the BD lifecycle, drive capture strategies, and manage partnerships with government stakeholders while reporting to executive leadership.

In this role, you will collaborate with the President, Capture Team, and Solution Management groups to align growth plans with delivery capabilities, ensuring pipeline health and revenue expansion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant business development, capture management, or proposal leadership experience in government contracting.
• Demonstrated track record of winning federal contracts as a prime contractor or major subcontractor.
• Experience building and managing a qualified federal opportunity pipeline.
• Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and small business contracting mechanisms, including 8(a) and set-aside opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline across target federal agencies and contract vehicles.
• Identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities aligned with ET's capabilities and growth strategy.
• Lead go/no-go decisions and capture strategies for prioritized opportunities.
