Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for an Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program. This program trains outside sales representatives to quickly accelerate their sales career within North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors.

Participants will undergo a 6-12 month program with classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to master our business model, products, and sales skills while developing relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members.
• Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
• Competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
• Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics.
• Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and executes account plans.
• Sells White Cap value proposition and products.
• Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
• Enters and processes customer orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
