White Cap is seeking an Account Manager for its Accelerated Sales Program in California. This 6–12 month training track prepares you for outside sales by pairing classroom and on-the-job learning with senior mentors.

You will develop account plans, learn the White Cap value proposition, and gain experience in jobsite or office sales calls, including riding along with managers. Strong communication and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or 1–2 years of sales experience.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members.
• Requires self-governance, proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
• Competitive nature with a drive to succeed.
• Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics.
• Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
• Prepares and executes account plans.
• Sells White Cap value proposition and products.
• Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
• Enters and processes customer orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
