Job summary

White Cap Management LLC is hiring for an Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program to fast-track sales careers in outside sales. You will participate in a structured 6-12 month training with leadership, learn the business model, products, and vendor relationships, and develop skills for successful account management.

The program emphasizes classroom and field training, account planning, and hands-on selling experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or 1–2 years of sales or related field experience.
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with team members.
Requires strong self-governance, proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence.
Competitive nature with drive to succeed.
Goal-oriented with accountability to deliver on metrics.
Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities.
Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
Prepares and executes account plans.
Sells White Cap value proposition and products.
Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
Enters and processes customer orders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
