White Cap is hiring immediately for our Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program in the United States. The program fast-tracks growth for new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers and includes classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training.

Participants will develop skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales, under guidance from White Cap sales leaders in a 6-12 month program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with team members.
• Requires self-governance, proactive approach, personal accountability and independence.
• Competitive nature with drive to succeed and be goal-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills.
• Prepares and executes account plans.
• Sells White Cap value proposition and products.
• Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
• Enters and processes customer orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
