Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Account Manager for the Accelerated Sales Program in California, offering a fast-track path to outside sales excellence. This program blends classroom, independent study and on-the-job training to develop core skills, relationships and knowledge needed to succeed in account management.

Participants will work with senior sales leaders to learn the business model, products and selling strategies, and will gradually take on account plans, customer calls and order processing

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or 1–2 years in sales or related field.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with team members.
• Self-governance, proactive approach and personal accountability.
• Competitive, goal-oriented with accountability to metrics.
• Open to feedback and willing to improve performance.
• Experience planning and organizing daily activities.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participates in training to learn White Cap's business model, products, and sales approach.
• Prepares and executes account plans to grow relationships.
• Sells White Cap value proposition and products to customers.
• Learns by riding with District Sales Manager and experienced Account Managers.
• Enters and processes customer orders; supports account administration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
