Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations, uphold Cane’s standards and culture, and drive performance across all restaurant functions.

You’ll oversee onboarding, payroll, scheduling, and performance management for hourly crewmembers, while ensuring customer service excellence and operational discipline in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adaptable to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates hourly crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly staff.
• Creates work and training schedules for crewmembers.
• Manages performance and coaching of hourly staff.
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
• Enforces company policies and standards.
• Ensures cleanliness and good working order of the facility.
