NFI Industries is seeking a Distribution Logistics Coordinator to ensure our customer transportation needs are met with exceptional service. The role focuses on answering and routing calls, planning and scheduling shipments, and performing clerical duties as directed by management.

The position requires experience in fast-paced warehouse environments, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast paced warehouse environment.
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priority lists.
• Previous transportation and/or DOT experience helpful.
• Prior customer service experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Willingness to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to external and internal customer needs regularly.
• Coordinate scheduling of orders with carriers and/or brokerage.
• Manage shipment queue and priority lists.
• Provide load tracking and make adjustments as needed.
• Communicate potential service issues to all parties involved.
• Prepare shipping and tracing information for customers and management.
• Interact positively with customers, operations, and carriers.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed by management.
