Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team across stores, ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment for customers and partners. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors, with emphasis on HVAC, building controls, and critical equipment.

The role supports multiple Nordstrom locations, including Rack sites, and requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to meet daily business needs.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and building systems; troubleshoot alarms and ensure proper operation.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as parts ordering and vendor management.
• Promote a safe working environment following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
