Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack locations. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, building systems, and critical equipment to ensure daily store readiness.

You will mentor technicians, handle admin tasks such as parts ordering, and coordinate with vendors. The position requires strong troubleshooting, safety adherence, and proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
5+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
Experience in HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs.
Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output and low voltage signals.
Strong written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
Competence with Microsoft Office and CMMS/Coupa usage.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform on-demand and preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across store operations.
Operate and monitor building controls and systems; respond to alarms.
Document activities, rounds, readings, and maintain accurate records in CMMS.
Mentor and develop other technicians and coordinate with vendors/landlords.
Attend store and project meetings; manage parts ordering and admin tasks.
