Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and maintain a safe, ready-for-business store environment across multiple Nordstrom locations.

You will support the Facility Manager and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on critical equipment and building systems. Responsibilities include supervising on-demand work orders, troubleshooting HVAC and electrical problems, operating building controls, mentoring technicians, coordinating parts with vendors, and documenting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities maintenance experience with emphasis on mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and system alarms (EMCS).
• Mentor and delegate tasks to technicians; supervise work orders.
• Coordinate parts, vendor management, and attendance at project meetings.
