Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in maintaining a safe, well‑functioning store environment across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. The role supports the Facility Manager by ensuring HVAC, building systems, and essential services are ready for daily operations; you will delegate workorders and mentor junior techs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities/mechanical maintenance experience.
• 5+ years predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 5+ years HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; respond to location emergencies.
• Mentor other technicians and assist with training for equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and property managers; document outcomes.
