Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team ensuring a safe, well-maintained store environment for customers and employees. You will support the Facilities Manager, oversee preventive and break-fixed maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and building systems, and mentor other technicians.

You will document maintenance activities, manage parts ordering, and collaborate with stores, vendors, and property managers to keep locations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities with mechanical maintenance focus.
• 5+ years in predictive and preventative maintenance.
• HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on demand and preventive maintenance for critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and EMCS alarms; document outcomes.
• Mentor other technicians and develop training on equipment and building systems.
• Coordinate with FM, vendors, and store leadership; ensure safety and compliance.
