Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team maintaining store environments across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

You will support the Facilities Manager, perform preventive and on-demand maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, and mentor junior technicians. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 5–7 years of hands-on facilities experience, CMMS and Coupa familiarity, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years experience in predictive and preventive maintenance.
• 5+ years experience with HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot basic input/output and low voltage signals.
• Ability to work without supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems for store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; troubleshoot alarms.
• Document maintenance procedures and mentor other technicians.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage parts ordering; support safety initiatives.
