Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team and ensure a safe, well-maintained store environment. You will support the Facilities Manager, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and mentor junior technicians across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

You’ll collaborate with store leadership, manage parts and meetings, and document maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Associates or higher preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities with an emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input/output functions; low voltage signal tracing.
• Able to work without supervision and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication across organizational levels; written and verbal.
• Experience with CMMS and Coupa.
• Knowledge of networking systems and infrastructure.
• Project management experience a plus.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; respond to alarms.
• Mentor other technicians and support FM.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage parts orders and meetings.
