Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and ensure safe, well-maintained store environments across Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

You will supervise preventive and on-demand maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC and building systems, and mentor other technicians while coordinating with FM and vendors. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, CMMS usage, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in retail/large facilities.
• 5+ years of hands-on facilities experience with emphasis on mechanical maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills with ability to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across store operations.
• Operate building controls and monitor systems; document outcomes and report malfunctions.
