Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in ensuring a safe, well-maintained store environment across multiple Nordstrom locations. You will support the Facility Manager, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and mentor other technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, vendor coordination, and accurate documentation within a CMMS and Coupa environment. A strong background in HVAC, electrical, and mechanical maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years in predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic inputs/outputs and low-voltage systems.
• Excellent communication across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-demand and planned preventive maintenance across store facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
• Support vendor relations and parts ordering.
• Mentor junior technicians and document processes.
• Ensure safety procedures and LOTO compliance.
